WHAT ARE THE RISKS?Like every other X ray procedures, Fluoroscopy carries many risks. There is a higher radiation doses for those who have objects entering the body such as stents or devices. Other risks that associate with fluoroscopy are injuries to the skin and underlying tissues "burn" after being exposed. Also Cancer which may occur later in life.
